Common questions
How do I get a quote?
Call (505) 207-9982. We'll ask a few questions, then set up a free site visit and give you a written price.
Do you have a contact form?
No — just call (505) 207-9982. You'll talk to a person about your project.
What areas do you serve?
Los Lunas, Belen, Bosque Farms, Peralta, Valencia, Tomé, Meadow Lake, El Cerro Mission, Rio Communities, Los Chávez, Jarales, Rio Grande Estates and the Isleta area.
How thick should a residential driveway be?
Typically 4–6 inches of compacted base and 2–3 inches of compacted asphalt; more for soft ground or heavy vehicles.
What's the difference between chip seal and asphalt?
Chip seal is a sprayed binder with stone rolled in — textured and cheaper. Asphalt is hot-mix laid by a paver — smoother and more durable.
Are millings a good driveway?
Installed properly over a shaped, compacted base, they make a firm, low-dust surface at a low cost.
Can you pave over my old driveway?
If the base is sound, an overlay works well. If it's sinking or spiderweb-cracked, those areas need rebuilding first.
How soon can I drive on new asphalt?
Usually 2–3 days for cars. Keep heavy trucks and trailer jacks off for a few weeks, especially in summer.
How often should I sealcoat?
About every 2–3 years, starting 6–12 months after paving.
Do I need a permit?
Usually not for paving on private property. Connections to public roads and irrigation ditch crossings may need approval. We'll help check.
When is paving season in Los Lunas?
Spring through fall. In summer we start early in the day.
Do you do commercial work?
Yes — parking lots, overlays, repairs, sealcoating and striping.
Do you work on Pueblo land?
Yes, when the project is coordinated through the Pueblo's own process.
Can neighbors share the cost of a lane?
Yes. We can price a shared lane so it's easy to split.
